Our organisation has an Braille printing press were we not only release our books in braille but also consider any needy concern supporter to print their books in braille for the support of visually impaired (Blind).

The Blind Welfare Organisation (India) is an NGO conducts various activities throughout the year for Welfare and Upliftment of visually impaired.


Ganesh Utsav : During Ganesh utsav we bring the Idol of Lord Ganesh in our Organisation office, to bring together all our visually impaired members and conduct various competition like quiz, singing, debate, antakshari and many more. To expose the hidden quality of visually challenged members.


Scholarship Distribution: To motivate and promote the good intellectual needy students by aiding books and scholarship to avoid any educational loss for the student from 9th class to post graduation.


Felicitation Ceremony: We conduct every year “Felicitation Ceremony” to felicitate the highest marks holders in SSC, HSC and graduation. The only reason to this is to promote and uplift the calibre of these students in society.


Self-Employment: We support financially for needy visually impaired to prove their ability is self-independence like any small scale day to day trading like toys making or any other accessories and selling in train and roadside.


Musical concert: Our musical team conducts an orchestra named “Swarangan”, charity shows, special Bhakti geet during Ashadi Ekadashi. This platform is provided to exhibit the calibre of our visually impaired to make a career and self-support oneself with the help of the society.

Sports: Our visually impaired are talented in many ways. Sportsman ship is one of their quality. To uplift this quality our organisation organises cricket tournaments in state and national level every year. We also initiate them for chess, malkhamb, long jump, running race, marathon and many more.


Health check up camp: Due to lack of awareness and medication, lots of visually impaired are below poverty line. To helps such people unconditionally We organise complete health check up camp. To save the eyesight of others we conduct eye check up camp (blindness alleviation)in rural areas.


Marriage Ceremony: Right to marriage “Soul mate’ is for all, even visually challenged should get this privilege as they are mostly ignored by their family. Our organisation arrange marriages for our visually impaired members and also provide necessary household materials, groceries for their day to day living for few months.


White Cane Day: As per United Nations Organisation on 15th October we celebrate every year World White Cane day on the awareness of Visually challenged. Our organisation conducts various programmes like Rally for awareness- to distribute posters - mostly conducted in the heart of the city. We distribute groceries and other needy materials to our needy visually challenged along with white canes.


Personality Development: We conduct workshops and programmes on personality development to inspire and motivate our visually impaired members from various fields.


Educational Aids: We print and publish books in braille in English, Hindi and Marathi for free of cost. Educational guidance books like digest, grammar, health, Sanskrit tarang and many more.


Our vision to enlight our society from Superstitious to the truth as blindness is not a curse but a medical deficiency.
